
Bràfim belongs the region of l'Alt Camp. The village is
10km away from Valls and 20km away from Tarragona. The main mean
of transport is the local road from Tarragona to El Pont d'Armentera
that connects with the regional road from Valls to El Vendrell.
The highway Barcelona-Lleida is 3km away from town.

The township takes up 6,29 Km2. Apart of this plain territory grazes
the Gaià river and that is why water is an abundant natural
resource in Bràfim.
In 1998 the town had 579 inhabitants.
The village counts with a small market, an elementary school, a
first aid centre, a pharmacy, a sports field, a football pitch,
an abattoir and a cultural centre.

The main economical activity in town is agriculture. The chief
crop is the vine followed by olive, fruit trees (mostly cherries),
almond, hazelnut and cereal. Cattle raising is also very important
for our town's economy, with several porcine and ovine farms.
The
industry in town moves around the vine growing world. The wine company
Vins Padró stands out in the business and the farming co-operative
counts with the latest technology to produce excellent wine. The
transport company Garatge Segarra covers the route Tarragona-Bràfim
and also many other national and international routes. The industrial
estate Bràfim-Alió is located in a well-communicated
spot and has excellent sewage, lioghting and paving systems.
